Which one to Purchase?
The new S-class has several modernizations and enhancements to support its six-figure price tag, despite having a starting price that is much more than the 2020 model. A 48-volt hybrid system (dubbed EQ Boost) is added to both powertrains, and they are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive.
A plug-in hybrid vehicle with a range of around 60 miles on pure electricity will also be available. The gas-powered vehicle was tested both here in the United States and in its home in Germany, showcasing its various steering and suspension settings. The E-Active Body Control offers a "curve" function that gently leans the car into curves, even though every model rides on air suspension. The big-bodied Merc is surprisingly simple to maneuver in confined quarters thanks to the S-optional class's all-wheel steering system.
